Baking
Always a winner in our house! Start the day with Waffles! If you have a waffle maker – here’s an easy waffles recipe. Ours isn’t heart shaped (I think we will make do with square…) but if you’re looking for a good Valentine’s Gift, there’s a list of 6 of the best heart shaped waffle makers here.
Here are a few fun ideas for no-bake easy treats:
– Valentines Day Wafer Cookies, from Inthekidskitchen.com
– Rice Krispie Treats, from twosisterscrafting.com
– Valentines Marshmallow Pops, via Cute DIYProjects.com
Or try out some cakes & biscuits:
– Love Bug Biscuits: I absolutely love these! I found the recipe on the BBC website here.
– Red Velvet Cupcakes: We made these last year from the Hummingbird Bakery Book. You can see the recipe here…they’re divine…lots of red colouring though!
– Heart Shaped Cake: from Good Housekeeping Magazine.
There are also lots of other recipe ideas here:

💜I hope that’s a bit of inspiration for a fun family Valentines Day!
