As part of the Heritage Open Days program, try some of the flavours and recipes popular in the 14th century in medieval England. Try some of the recipes served to King Richard II, and learn proper table manners. The event takes place in the Guard Room under the Black Gate and is free to access, but visitors will still need to buy a ticket as normal to enter the Black Gate or Castle Keep. Numbers will be restricted to maintain social distance.
