Annual Charity Golf Day held at Consett Golf Club, to help raise funds for the Groundwork Community Chest. Prizes for top 3 Stableford Scores.
The purpose of the fund is to support fitness and wellbeing and also to help communities to celebrate their activities or achievements. Examples of where funding has been used, are to buy heaters for the ‘Men’s Shed’ project, for a young person to take part in the life changing National Citizens Service and the national ‘Thankyou Day’ for the unsung heroes of the pandemic. Cost includes a donation and some warm food after your round.
