Tiny Tasters is providing FREE live cook-a-long sessions for little ones, find out more and catch up with some of the recipes and video links below.
Whether your little one is a budding chef or a fussy eater, there’s plenty of benefits to getting kids involved in the kitchen from an early age. Children can get a sense of responsibility and pride from cooking to help to combat fussiness, and can learn the importance of a balanced diet to help instill healthy eating habits throughout adulthood. There’s also plenty of opportunities to practice key skills, including reading, counting, measuring and telling the time.
Tiny Tasters offer fun cooking classes across the North East suitable from toddlers to primary school, where little ones can make, bake and create as they release their inner chef! They have been been working hard during the lockdown to bring families regular live cook-a-long sessions, for free!
The team are often joined by adorable mini helpers, demonstrating the fun (and sometimes the challenges!) of cooking with littlies! It’s a great opportunity to expand your cooking repertoire, with ideas for breakfast, snacks, lunch & main meals that the whole family will love.
It’s a great way to introduce healthy foods and explore new ingredients in a fun relaxed way. You may be sceptical that your little fussy eater will try certain foods, but who could turn down a ‘spinachy snake’!?
In the private group you can watch the upcoming LIVE cook-a-longs and catch up with past demos, plus there’s meal planning advice, recipe inspiration and fun cooking activities. Members are encouraged to participate with sharing favourite recipes, foodie experiences and top tips for making food fun!
And once social distancing is behind us, you can check if there are ‘real life’ classes running in your area, for even more fun making foodie friends🙂
